The Fiscal Officer for the Village of Newcomerstown is responsible for the collection, disbursement, and custody of all funds; and must establish and maintain those financial records and procedures that are necessary to perform her duties including:

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable

• Annual Operating Budget

• Annual Tax Budget

• Capital Improvement Plan

• Financial reporting

• Payroll

• Records Commission

The Fiscal Officer also serves as the Clerk of Council by keeping an accurate and complete record of all proceedings of Council and have custody of all laws, ordinances, and resolutions of Council, have custody of all official documents, reports, papers, and files of Council, and performs other such duties as required by Council.
