Here is today's latest information about our vaccination waitlist process. We are asking those in eligible vaccination groups (close relatives/friends of older individuals can register on their loved one's behalf) to register online whenever possible at our website www.tchdnow.org/covid-19-vaccine.html Those who are unable to access waitlist information online are welcome to call us at 330-343-5555, ext. 106 between 8 am and 4 pm, M-F. We are closed on Monday, January 18th, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Vaccine Waitlist Registration Process for the Tuscarawas County Health Department (TCHD):
Phase 1A: Waitlist Closes at 4:00 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2021
Phase 1B: Individuals 80 and older: Registration Currently Open; Vaccinations to begin by appointment during the week of January 18, 2021.
Phase 1B: Individuals 75 and older: Waitlist registration will open at 9:00 am on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
We will call those who have registered to schedule an appointment when a vaccine becomes available.
It is very important for those who have registered to answer our call from (330) 343-5555. We recommend that registrants add our phone number to the list of contacts on their cell phones. Due to the low vaccine stock and high demand, if registrants are unable to take our call, we will move to the next person in line to fill the appointment slot.
Those who are unable to answer our first call will be kept on our list, and we will call again when another appointment opens. We will attempt to reach those on our waitlist a total of 3 times.
**** PLEASE NOTE: TCHD is currently receiving 100 vaccines per week. Our current waitlist is over 650 individuals.
Waitlist sign-up is available through the following sources: http://www.tchdnow.org/covid-19-vaccine.html or call (330) 343-5555 x106.
Please sign up ONLY 1 TIME unless we have notified you that we have attempted to contact you 3 times, and you will then need to sign up again.
Thank you so much for your continued support and for your patience during this time. Have a good afternoon.
In good health,
Your TCHD Operations Center Team
