The Newcomerstown Fire Department is sponsoring an Annual Chicken Barbecue and Cruise In on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the David Barber Civic Center located at 1066 East State Street in Newcomerstown. Chicken dinners will be served from 11 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Dine-in and carryout will be available. The dinner includes: ½ chicken, your choice of 2 side dishes, and a roll for $10.00. Desserts will also be available. Advanced purchase of tickets is suggested. Tickets are available from any Newcomerstown Emergency Rescue Squad, Inc. member.
Annual car show registration begins at 11 a.m. and lasts until 1 p.m. “Top 75” trophies and “Best of Show” will be awarded at 3:00 p.m. as well as 150 dash plaques. Music and entertainment provided by “The Spikeman.” A 50-50 raffle will also be available, and numerous door prizes will be given away.
A “Bingo and a Barbecue” fund-raiser will also be held on Saturday, September 12th. The doors for bingo open at 3:00 p.m. with the games beginning at 6:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the barbecue, car show, and bingo will be used to purchase emergency equipment for the Newcomerstown Fire Department. For additional information please contact 740-498-8808.
