Administration is made up of three offices which include Mayor's, Fiscal Officer, and Administrative Assistant. They administer much of the day to day operations as well as the larger projects, the Village Budget and scheduling of events.

The Village of Newcomerstown has three cemeteries – West Lawn Cemetery, State Street Cemetery and Bridge Street Cemetery.

The Fiscal Officer for the Village of Newcomerstown is responsible for the collection, disbursement, and custody of all funds; and must establish and maintain those financial records and procedures that are necessary to perform their duties.

We started the long arduous journey creating a Volunteer Fire Department in early 2023 with the hiring of our present Fire Chief, Jeff Parks. He then brought Ricky Patterson, our Assistant Fire Chief into the mix. The two worked side by side with us at the Administration to lift the department off of the ground. We now have twenty volunteers and counting. The firehouse located at 200 S College St. is now our new home for the recently repaired and acquired fire trucks and equipment, though it still has a long way to go. This includes Cy Young park and Pool, Southside Park, and Simonds-Heller Park. There is a Park/Pool manager and assistant and provides opportunities to reserve the shelters and pool can be scheduled through the Administrative Assistant online or through the website.

The Newcomerstown Sewer Department operates and maintains the waste water treatment plant on West State Street. Billing is done at 777 E. State Street.

All roadways and related infrastructure within municipalities, including state and county routes, are the responsibilities of each municipality. The Village of Newcomerstown’s transportation system consist of about twenty eight (28) miles of paved roads, one (1) mile unpaved, one (1) bridge and various sidewalks. The street department has responsibility for various aspects of the construction and maintenance of the village roadways.

The Newcomerstown Water Department operates a water well field located adjacent to the Newcomerstown Industrial Park.
